A CURIOUS INVENTOR AND HIS SMART GADGET DISCOVER UNUSUAL RELATIONSHIPS BY MIXING KNOWLEDGE AND FUN.
Called "Abílio e Traquitana" in portuguese, this is an animated series project, developed by me, in partnership with Henrique Barone in 2008 as our graduation project at the University.
It is an educational series focused on teaching in an entertaining and stimulating way. To solve the day's question, the inventor HERBIE and his inseparable GADGETY, will count on the help of Knowledge Village's inhabitants, characters interested in Biology, Physics, Arts and other disciplines. The great discovery comes when they mix the knowledge and find curious and unusual relationships.
In 2009, 17 projects out of about 270 from all over Brazil were selected to ANIMATV, the first edition of a government support for original kid series. With this support, a 11 minutes pilot was produced, as well as a complete bible and more 6 scripts.
It was a really nice experience, and below you can see the whole 11 minutes pilot, and also some images of the process.
